ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Update on Symphonic and Concert Band trip to DPAC:
The itinerary for students attending the Oklahoma show at DPAC on March 31 has been finalized. Students will depart LRHS for the NC Zoo in Asheboro at 8:00 am and spend the day visiting the exhibits in the North America and Africa sections of the zoo. We will arrive at Bull City Burger by 4:30 for dinner and then walk to DPAC (3 blocks) to see Oklahoma. More details will be sent home with those students attending in the next few days. The student fee for the field trip is approximately $140 and includes the Oklahoma ticket, transportation, lunch, snack and dinner. Payment will be withdrawn from Charms accounts. If you do not have sufficient funds in Charms, please send in a check to cover the difference by Wednesday, March 23.
There are still some student tickets available. If you are interested in attending and have not yet RSVPed, please contact Ms. Montgomery, Ann Longrie (Symphonic Band – ann.longrie@icloud.com), or Leslie Mason (Concert Band – mason_leslie@yahoo.com) to see if a ticket is available for your student. Students who have already sent in an RSVP have a reserved ticket in their name. Also, if you volunteered to chaperone, you are on the chaperone list and will receive more information soon).

Trip RE-Commitment Form for Symphonic and Concert Band trip to Carowinds:
Due to the change in trip plans, we wanted to make sure that we have the correct number of students attending the Carowinds trip on May 7th.
Please make sure students turn in this form by TUESDAY, 3/15, along with any money needed to pay for the trip. If you made a first deposit for Disney, that paid for the entire Carowinds trip and you are all set. Payment is only needed from those that did not originally sign up to attend or that forgot to place their first deposit. 
Trip payments:
If you would like to know your Charms balance to determine what you may have available to put toward the Carowinds trip payment (and the Oklahoma field trip, if applicable), please feel free to email our Student Accounts Manager, Emily Asby (emilyasby@gmail.com), and she can give you an updated total.  If you would like to log into Charms directly but have forgotten your password, email Emily and she can send you a password reset link.
