NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Request from the Bands Club Board:
1. Immediate Need: We have an immediate need to fill the 2nd hospitality chair position for both concert and intermediate band. Thankfully, one person has already stepped up to fill one of these positions. The main job of hospitality is to organize the reception after concerts and to help with any event where food is served. We are hoping to have a reception after the concert in December for concert/intermediate band. This job would be much easier if a 2nd person could step up to help! If interested, please email Allison Bullard (abullard2@wcpss.net).
2. Uniforms – Concert and Intermediate Band:
For students that placed a tuxedo attire order (or sent in an alteration) with Savvi Formalwear, your tuxedo item(s) are ready to be picked up from Savvi. When you pick up the tuxedo, please bring your band student and their formal wear shoes to try on with the tuxedo to confirm fit and hem. Savvi will perform alterations at no additional cost.
Most students have already paid for their tuxedos. If you have not already paid, the payment will be due in full directly to Savvi at the time of pickup. No appointment is necessary.

Boxes Needed! Please bring your medium-sized cardboard boxes to the bands club meeting on Tuesday, November 15th, and/or to the Luminary prep event on Friday, November 18th at 3:00 in the cafeteria. We will use these boxes for the delivery and organization of the kits! Thanks in advance!!

Have a truck or large SUV? Please meet at Emily Wegmann’s house (8700 west lake court, in Springdale Estates) on November 18th @ 2 pm to help move luminary supplies to the school.
Don’t have a truck but are strong, come and help us move all the boxes of supplies to and from the school!
