NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. All District Audition Information:
- Double and Triple check the Audition rules, Solo list and Scale list here: https://www.ncecdba.com/high-school-auditions.html

- Confirm that you are on the registered students list.
- Confirm that the correct instrument(s) is/are listed with your registration.
- For students who are doubling, confirm that you are in different audition groups (arrival times) for each instrument.
- Note that there are 3 different time columns: 1) arrival time – this is when you must check in, 2) warm-up time, and 3) audition time.
- Notify Mrs. Colburn if there are doubling overlaps, missing students, or incorrect instruments. (I cannot accommodate additions at this point in the process.)
- Students who arrive after their audition window has begun will NOT be allowed to audition. All students should be aware of this.
The instruction sheet linked in the “Important Dates” box at the beginning of this newsletter has other important details that you will need to know regarding the audition day. Please take a few minutes to read and familiarize yourself with all the information in it so that you can be prepared for that day.
2. CB and SB Spring Trip:
Payment #4 is due no later than Tuesday,January 10th, 2023. If you or your student participated in the luminary fundraiser or December venue fundraising, that money has been recorded in Charms and can be put toward the January trip payment. Fruit and flowers fundraising totals will not be available in time for this trip payment.
Checks made payable to LRHS Bands can be sent to school with your student and placed in the band room safe. Payments can also be made via PayPal: Making Payments via PayPal
Our VPs will provide important trip details in the weeks to come. In the meantime, keep an eye out for deals on these items while you are preparing for the upcoming trip Disney Park Essentials
3. Reminder when placing orders the RaiseRightGift Cards:
- Please remember to order the digital version of these gift cards when placing your orders. We have to pay extra money when physical cards are ordered. Please see the information about this fundraising gift card program in the Previous Announcements section of this newsletter.
