Here are the new announcements for this week:
Field Trip Forms are DUE! If you are in Concert Band or Intermediate Band we need your field trip form completed (both sides) and returned by this coming TUESDAY (2/4). Extra copies are on Google Classroom.
Rising Ninth Grade Open House is this Wednesday (2/5) from 6-8pm. This is for CURRENT 8th graders. Please know that the 8th graders need to sign up to audition if they would like to be in Concert Band or Symphonic Band by using this link: Concert/Symphonic Band Audition Sign-Ups for CURRENT 8th graders These audition days are DIFFERENT than the days for CURRENT high school students.
Symphonic Band Auditions: Symphonic Band Auditions for CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL students will be held on March 19th and 20th. There will be a sign-up closer to this date. Please make sure you are preparing!
The next Scrip ordering window ends this Thursday, February 6. To pay by check, please use the manila envelope in the front of the band room starting Monday, February 3 through end of the school day on Thursday, February 6. To use Presto Pay, please enter your order online by Thursday, February 6. The physical gift cards will be delivered at the February 13th small ensembles concert. Vicky Kells will also have $12 and/or $20 Goodberry’s gift cards available for purchase. Remember that your student account(s) will receive a 24.25% rebate on Goodberry’s gift cards. Our next Out to Eat Night will be at Chipotle (9504 Strickland Road) from 4pm-8pm on March 24!

February 13 – Small Ensembles concert @ 7 p.m. (No Bands Club meeting this month)
March 6 – MPA Festival Concert – All 3 bands will be performing.
March 11 – Bands Club meeting @ 7 p.m. (this is a change from the original calendar due to MPA being moved to the following week.
April 25 – Barbecue Fundraiser

The 23rd annual NC Trombone Festival will be held at the ECU School of Music on April 4th, 2020. The day runs from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm. This event is FREE and open to trombonists of all ages and abilities. There will be many performances, clinics and lectures for all levels of experience.
