SUBJECT:
The Thirtieth Annual Spring Concert with the Concert Band and Intermediate Band on Thursday 11 May 23, starting at 7:00 PM in the Leesville Auditorium.
UNIFORM:
Concert/Intermediate Band:
FULL CONCERT DRESS: Option 1– Black Dress and Black Shoes, PEARLS; Option 2– Full Tuxedo (with button studs), Cummerbund and Bow Tie, Black Shoes and Black Socks.
Jazz Band:
Concert Black. Guys – please wear black socks, black dress shoes, black dress pants and a black button up shirt. Ladies – please wear black slacks and a black shirt, blazer or blouse.
ALL:
NO JEWELRY except a watch, pearl necklace for ladies and LHS Class Rings. At Leesville we wear either the WHOLE uniform or NONE of the uniform – NEVER just a portion of it. This helps to give us a much classier and professional look at all times.
EQUIPMENT:
Everyone takes care of his or her own instrument as in rehearsal.
MUSIC:
Intermediate: Valley Forge March, Selections from “Lincolnshire Posy,” Brave Spirit
Concert: Ghost Run, Amazing Grace, John Williams: The Symphonic Marches
Jazz: I Let a Song Go Out of My Heart, What a Wonderful World, Flight of the Foo Birds
MONEY:
No money will be needed. Tickets must be purchased ONLINE at GoFan.Co. There will be a reception in the main lobby following the concert.

6:30…..Count-off (Concert Band–Black Box, Intermediate Band–Band Studio, Jazz Band–Chorus)
6:31…..Rehearse – Tune
6:56…..Depart for Auditorium
7:00…..Concert Begins
8:30…..Approximate end for the concert
9:00…..Studio Closes
NOTE:
Just a reminder that tickets must be purchased ONLINE at GoFan.Co (search LRHS Band). Tickets are $6.00 apiece.
After the concert, the equipment crew will need to set the stage up as the band studio for the Symphonic Band Concert on Friday.
For the reception, we would ask that everyone bring a finger food to share.
