Happy New Year Bands Club Families!
Welcome back to all our Bands Club members. I hope that you all had a safe and enjoyable holiday season with a little rest time built in to recover from our busy fall. 2024 has more great musical fun and learning in store. Tonight’s edition of our Band News and Notes has the information that you will need for the month of January. NC-ECBDA and ERO auditions happen over the next couple of weeks. Specific dates and details are in the newsletter. Our Band VPs have an important update tonight regarding the Spring Trip for CB and SB. There will be more information in next week’s newsletter as well about the trip. Our directors have included some updates regarding 1) Summer Band Camp, and 2) MPA Concert date change (plus Small Ensembles Concert change). Finally, the “Previous Announcements” section contains some interesting musical opportunities for all our Band and Orchestra students to consider. The next Bands Club Meeting will be on Tuesday, January 16th. Our bands and orchestra have many exciting events coming up and the support of the Bands Club is vital to our students’ success!
