RaiseRight Fundraising Program
The Scrip company sells gift cards and gift certificates (paper and e-codes) that can be redeemed at hundreds of retailers across the country. Band members earn a percentage of each gift card/certificate purchased through the Scrip program. Questions? Contact the person in charge
How does Scrip work?
- You order gift cards at face value. For example, you pay $25 for a $25 gift card for Best Buy
- Shop with Scrips gives the Bands Club a rebate for each gift card purchased. Retailers pay different rebate percentages that range from 5%-20%.
- The rebate is shared between the student and Bands Club. Student accounts receive 97% of the rebate and the Band Club receives the remaining 3%. For example, a $25 Best Buy Card, the total credit is $2.25 which is shared between the student and club.
Who can place orders?
Orders for Scrip cards can be submitted by LRHS Bands students, parents, alumni, teachers, and supporters of LRHS programs. Students can solicit orders from family members, neighbors, teachers, and friends.
How do I place an order?
Place your order online or via the RaiseRight mobile app. Or, contact the Scrip coordinator to purchase gift cards for local stores like Lowe’s Foods, Food Lion, and Goodberry’s in person by appointment or at the monthly Bands Club meeting.
Where do I get more info?
Read up on the Scrip program at www.ShopWithScrip.com. You may also contact the 2021-22 Scrip coordinator Tonya Plaice or check out the latest Band News and Notes.
How do I earn?
Money received from the Scrip program can go into a student’s account or into the band scholarship fund.
LRHS Bands Club Grocery Card Program
Add money to your child’s band account every time you buy groceries – without spending anything extra! Before you go to the grocery store, pick up a gift card for your favorite store from the Bands Club. Then, just shop as usual and pay for your groceries with the card.
Local grocery stores donate a percentage of the value of the grocery gift card to your student’s band account. For example, when you purchase a $100 grocery card, you’ll be able to spend $100 at the store and a percentage will be added to your band account.

Special training is required before your first shift.
